Our Rooms
We have designed our rooms the way we like them when we travel: comfortable, easy on the eye and well-equipped.
The Nest, the Maisonnette and the Boudoir all come with free WiFi, phone charger cables, a King Size (180cm) bed, a Nespresso coffee machine, a kettle, as well as complimentary tea and coffee.
Towels and bed sheets are provided, as well as towels for the pool.
The Nest – Cosy and elegant
This perched double room with en-suite bathroom offers the best view over the pool and garden, as well as basking in natural light.
It is accessible via a wisteria-laced staircase topped by a balcony.
The Maisonnette – A charming family suite
This two-storey ‘little house’ offers 40sq m of elegance and cocooning and can host up to four people.
Downstairs, it boasts a cosy living area with a sofa bed, a table for four and a shower.
Upstairs, sleep in a King Size bed and, if you fancy, enjoy a luscious bath in our ‘lion leg’ bathtub.
The Boudoir – Spacious and sophisticated
This lovely ground floor, double room (25sqm) with en-suite grey marble bathroom is located within our house but has its own separate access directly from the garden, as well as its own outdoor, bistrot-style table. See More.
Around Us
Viglain (5min by bike)
La Danasha is located just outside the small village of Viglain, which has approx 900 inhabitants and boasts a bakery, a butcher’s, an organic farm and a small convenience store with local products. We are located in the centre of France and, beside being just two hours away from Paris, ideally placed for a delightful stop en route if you are driving through France.
Sully-sur-Loire (10-min by car, 30min by bike)
Sully-sur-Loire is the first stop on the Loire valley castles route, starting from the East – Chambord castle is just one hour away. It boasts a history-rich medieval castle which used to be home to King Henri IV’s finance minister, the Duke of Sully. You can reach Sully-sur-Loire in a 10-min drive or a 30-min bicycle ride. Sully-sur-Loire is located on the Loire à Vélo cycloroute.
Orléans (40min by car)
The major city of Orléans is located 40min by car to the North-West. The city boasts a gothic cathedral and lovely riverside scenery, as well as carrying rich history.

If you arrive by train and book for at least two nights, we can fetch you (for a supplement) at Gien (40min), Saint-Cyr-en-Val / La Source or Lamotte-Beuvron (both 30min) train stations.
